An entry of my journal

{ I saw a sword with letters in an unknown language down the center of it. I don’t know what the words mean. There was a stone being rubbed across the sword like flint to cause sparks and soon ignited the stone. }
The word of God cuts between soul and spirit. It judges thoughts and attitudes of the heart. God is after your heart. The word feels like great friction against the flesh. It can be uncomfortable or even painful to allow the truth of God’s words to change us. When we allow Him to build that friction it will ignite our hearts. We are the stone rubbing against the word of God. Fire is the spirit of God and the more we allow the word to be abrasive against us, the more we will see the spirit manifest in our lives. Let the word of God separate the flesh from the spirit so you can see God’s word manifest in your life on a daily basis.
This is a season of cutting away things that are not of the spirit. This is a time of friction in persecution to create the fire needed to accomplish the mission God has us on.
